Booking flights: To be able to use the discount, all travel must be booked online. Flights are capacity controlled and any flight is entitled to the 5% discount as long as it fits the criteria outlined below. All flights in a reservation must include valid routes and travel dates in order to receive a discount. If only one direction of travel is valid, please book your valid flight as a one way trip using the promotional code and the other segment as a one way trip without the code.
The cities: The destination city is based on the airport closest to the National Council Conference host city that is served by JetBlue (Austin, Texas). Any city whether: direct, nonstop or, connecting can be used to get to the prearranged destination cities.
Flight dates: Any flight can be chosen as long as it arrives at the destination no more than two days before the start of the convention and departs no more than two days after the end of the convention.
Changes: Any changes to an itinerary booked with a promotional code will be subject to a change fee, any applicable increase in airfare, and it will also result in the removal of the discount.
Cancellations: Booking may be cancelled, but will be subject to a cancellation fee.
Air Travel to San Antonio
San Antonio International Airport (SAT) is serviced by the following air-carriers: Aerolitoral, Aeromexico, AirTran, American Airlines, Continental, Continental Express, Delta, and Delta Connection Carriers (ASA, Comair and Skywest), Frontier, Mexicana, Northwest, Southwest, Sky West, Spirit, United & US Airways. These airlines collectively offer non-stop service to 34 different markets.
The airport is located in Northern San Antonio, approximately eight miles or 15 minutes from the downtown area. Loop 410 and U.S. 281 are the two highways providing access to the main entry points.
San Antonio International Airport provides a wide range of ground transportation options including:
Rental Cars: Nine rental car agencies with shuttle services to pickup/drop-off centers.
Taxicabs: $20 - $22 to downtown.
Shared-ride shuttles: $18 one-way to downtown, $32 for round-trip.
City bus: $1.00 to downtown (1 hour scenic route.)
